This is a unique take on the pinot grape that straddles the line between orange and pink wine.

Pinot Gris (60%), Pinot Noir (20%) and Pinot Meunier (15%) sourced from Moppity vineyard in Tumbarumba, with a splash of Pinot Blanc (5%) from our vineyard in Braidwood.

Grapes are fermented in small batches using a combination of old French oak and stainless steel to enhance texture, freshness and complexity. Pinot Gris gets some time on skins before pressing, lending an “orange” element to the wine, balancing the dark red fruits of the Noir and Meunier.

Dry and mouth watering with pink grapefruit, red apple and strawberry notes combing to create an elegant and versatile wine.

50% wild ferment in French oak along with 50% stainless steel ferment.

Food matches: seafood cooked with spices or a creamy goats cheese tart.

Production: 200 Dozen

Vinification: All the grapes were crushed, destemmed and pressed to tank. 50% was racked to older French oak barrels for a natural ferment and 50% was tank fermented with a specially selected yeast. The barrels, once finished fermenting, were stirred on lees for 2 months. The wine was racked together where it was gently fined and filtered before being bottled in July 2023.
